Which TikTok Shop products pay the most commission?

No magic list here: the product that pays someone else the most might not pay you. Here's how to find yours using your own numbers.

A high rate isn't everything

A product at 30% that doesn't sell pays you less than one at 10% that sells itself. What matters is how much commission each video earns you for that product.

The 4 things to look at

  1. Actual commission (after refunds), not estimated.
  2. Commission per video: what the product paid you divided by the videos you made for it.
  3. Refunds: some products sell a lot and get returned a lot.
  4. Shop Ads commission: if the brand runs your video as an ad, it can carry a separate rate.

How rates change

Sellers can set open and targeted collaborations. If both exist for the same product, targeted wins. Open rate changes take about 30 days to apply (targeted, about 5), and if a seller lowers the rate, creators already promoting keep the old one for 30 days.

Ask the brand for more

If a product works for you, you have leverage to ask for a targeted collaboration with a higher rate: an offer just for you that overrides the open one.

FAQ

Which TikTok Shop products pay the highest commission?

It depends on you: the ones that earn you the most actual commission per video, after refunds. A high rate is useless if the product doesn't sell.

What's a targeted collaboration?

A commission offer a seller sends to specific creators. If you have both an open and a targeted offer for the same product, the targeted rate applies.

Can a seller lower my commission?

Yes, but on open collaborations creators already promoting keep the previous rate for 30 days.
